Marit, I haven't been on any blogs for awhile and have missed reading them all. I loved going on your little trip and seeing the farmers cottage that was well off compared to the lower income ones. No, you should use anhydrous CuSO4 to dry acetic acid. Google “Solvents Drying and Drying Agents” for a list of drying agents for various solvents. CuSO4 works for nitric acid too.

Unless Donofrio is suggesting that Marshall engaged in time travel, quite clearly Marshall was not saying anything about the 14th Amendment in Marbury v. Madison.Mr. Donofrio should stick to poker.
