You look so healthy and happy in the before pictures! And, much like me, it’s very obvious that this disorder was never about “being thin,” as you are naturally thin. I’ve never longed to look thinner. Instead, I look at old pictures and I want to be how I was — thin, but filled out, like a woman. My face is fuller, I have a brightness to my smile, I have color in my skin. That’s what I love. Does it make you sad to look at the old pictures? It used to make me sad, but now I think of it as motivating. We all have that healthy person inside of us. She existed before, ya know?
